Portrait photography of local artist and author featured in Bath Life

21 August 2017

The latest edition of Bath Life magazine (issue 346) to drop on our doorsteps features an article written by editor Lisa Evans on courses and classes in Bath run by creatives and artisans. Over the past year, I’ve worked with many small business owners, producing branding, web and photographic work. Two clients in particular are Tessa Strickland and Gary Wood, as seen in the press cutting above.

Tessa is an author based just outside of Bath who runs writing masterclasses for adults. She approached me last February in need of some professional portraits and lifestyle images to promote her writing. Over the period of 1 hour, we shot several shots in her home, making use of the beautiful light in her kitchen and opting for a relaxed and homely look. Her favourite image from the shoot can be seen above.

Gary Wood is a ceramicist based in Bathford who produces exquisite pieces in his home studio. Last November, I was asked by Bath Life to produce a set of images on his work and above are a couple of highlights from the shoot.

If you would like to book me to capture your portrait of business photography, please call me on 07538 075784 or get in touch via my contact form. I’m available at short notice in and around the Bath area (BA1, BA2) and also happy to book in shoots anywhere in the UK.
