Since a young age, I’ve always had a creative spark. At school, design and technology was my standout subject and in 2001 I was named both Young Innovator of the Year and Young Engineer for Great Britain. A few years later, I went on to gain a BA (Hons) degree in Industrial Design and Technology from Loughborough University before setting up my design company in 2006 in Oxfordshire.
From the outset, I soon started to realise there was a demand from start-up companies and local business for one person that could personally oversee and produce their branding, website and print material without the need to employ large design firms. Whether starting from scratch or enhancing an existing brand, it was this area that I would focus my skills towards and build a successful client base around.
In 2008 and with technology allowing me to run my business remotely, I moved to Switzerland to experience life in the mountains. With a love for the great outdoors and skiing, I soon found my initial 1-year break turning into a 6-year lifestyle. Living in Verbier, I continued to develop my design business and established many new clients in the hospitality industry, including a luxury chalet company, ski school and even Sir Richard Branson (a slightly surreal moment!). It was whilst surrounded by the stunning Swiss landscape that my love for photography also grew and I soon found myself developing my photography from an amateur to professional status. I would go on to start shooting marketing images for my for design clients, photographing local events and proudly working for 3 years as staff photographer on the European stages of the Freeride World Tour ski and snowboard event.
Now living in Bath in the UK, I continue to work for clients both in the UK and overseas. My mantra is to provide a one-stop shop for all their (and your) creative needs. This is where I see my greatest strength – in being able to interpret a brief, create a vision and then see this through with stunning graphic design and photography.
In 2015, I become an Associate (ARPS) of The Royal Photographic Society and I’ve also had my photographic work published numerous times in publications including National Geographic, BBC Wildife magazine and The Telegraph. One of proudest achievements is being named a finalist in Travel Photographer of the Year for 3 years running (2014, 2015 and 2016).
Thanks for taking a look through my website and please feel free to get in touch – I’d love to hear from you.
