Between 2008-2014 I spent my time living in the beautiful Swiss Alps. It was during this time that my love for sports photography grew and I’m proud to have worked with and photographed some world class athletes.
In the winter months, my sports photography work would mainly cover ski and snowboard photography. The pinnacle of working in this genre was 3 amazing seasons assigned as a staff ski photographer on the European stages of the Freeride World Tour ski and snowboard event – a dream come true for any big mountain ski and snowboard lover.
During the summer months, I would focus on golf and cycling photography, covering events both in Switzerland as well as the French Alps and Italian Dolomites. For 3 seasons, I worked as a staff photographer on the Trois Etapes pro/am cycling event and since 2012, I have photographed the Golf Club de Sion Pro/Am golf tournament.
In addition to covering sports events, I also work closely with individual athletes, taking images of their respective sports as well as portraits and marketing images that can be used by magazines or sponsors.
As a professional sports photographer, my mountain skills and understanding of the sports I cover allow me to take my camera equipment to any location and capture images suitable for both large format print and online use.
