All Saints is a village church in Weston Village on the outskirts of Bath. However, as well their church, All Saints also caters for a large community of local residents through the All Saints Centre – a converted primary school building that provides space for church activities as well as many external groups, activities and events. In addition, their newly acquired (2018) Weston Hub acts as a community centre as well as a second venue for many groups and events in Bath.
In January 2018, I was approached by All Saints to re-brand their church group as well as create a new logo for the All Saints Centre and Weston Hub. As part of the brief, creating a ‘family’ of logos that could all be easily recognised under the All Saints identity was of key importance as well as achieving creating a fresh and vibrant brand that avoided commonly used/cliché church iconography.
In the following months, I would go on to produce their branding, website, print material and signage.
Branding
Through the creation of a glowing ‘church doors’ symbol, three stand-alone logos were created for All Saints Church, All Saints Centre and the Weston Hub. A new font family and colour palette was also created along with a brand guidelines document for future use.
Website
Following the success of the branding, All Saints asked me to produce a conceptual design for their website which would be coded in-house. As such, I produced a layout for the All Saints Church that featured a series a series of templates that could then be adapted to produce a further two websites for the All Saints Centre and Weston Hub.
Print and marketing material
With an on-going need for print material to hand out during services and events, a set of templates for welcome leaflets, term cards, venue hire and more was created to allow the in-house All Saints team to produce in-house branded marketed material.
Signage
With the new branding created, both external and internal signage for the 3 venue was created. This included the creation of all planning and fabrication artwork as well as photorealistic presentations to show how the proposed signage would appear once created.
