With their headquarters based in Bath, MannionDaniels is a global company offering international consultancy and fund management.
Their objective is to find creative solutions to complex issues in health, social justice and social development and to establish relationships with governments, communities and organisations in developing countries in order to deliver effective systems and services to those who need them most.
In July 2018, I was approached by MannionDaniels with the brief to create a new brand to update their global profile along with a fully responsive website design that could be developed in house by their digital team. They were keen to engage with a local designer and I’ve since formed a strong and on-going working relationship with their team.
From a brand perspective, there were several entities to consider. A standard primary logo for MannionDaniels was needed but in addition, their logo had to allow for the creation of separate regional logos with a template that could be easily adapted for any country. They also required a modern and strong font-family to be chosen along with an update to their existing colour palette to ensure their brand colours could be used across all media (print, web, signage etc.).
The MannionDaniels website was designed to provide a corporate overview of the business with a focus on installing confidence in current and future partners. The site was split into 3 key sections – about MannionDaniels, their projects and how to connect with their offices. An area of particular note is the projects section which features an innovative globe and filter system allowing a user to find and locate details of every project or grant supported by MannionDaniels throughout the world. This was a key requirement from the company and an area I believe that sets MannionDaniels’ website apart from it’s competitors. The new website is due to launch later this year in 2019 to supersede their current site at www.manniondaniels.com.
Following on from the creation of the new branding and website, I’ve continued to work with MannionDaniels to assist with all their brand requirements. This includes creating a 40-page brand guidelines booklet, business stationery (letterhead, business card, email signatures), Adobe acrobat templates for internal factsheets, Microsoft PowerPoint templates, company infographics and their staff handbook for HR and recruitment.
In addition, I’ve also provided photography services to capture headshots of all key staff as well as producing trademark documentation to assist with protect their new branding.
